THE CLUB
Singles Bon Vivant has taken the concept
of social dining into the 2000's. The Club serves as a 'place' where single
men and women can get together over fine cuisine, interesting conversation,
and to generate and develop new friendships in a mature and sophisticated
environment.
Founded
in 1985, SBV is a members only dining club for professional men and women.
The goal is to offer a congenial atmosphere for single people to sample
the cuisines of the world at many of New Jersey's finer restaurants, while
meeting people with similar values and interests. Membership is $75.00
per year.
SBV is
NOT a dating service, nor is it part of the fast-paced singles scene. We
realize that everyday life can be stressful and hectic. Therefore, the
club arranges events to allow people a relaxed and cordial atmosphere for
enjoyable evenings of conversation and cuisine. Attend the events that
you choose. There is no obligation to attend a minimum number of events
each month. Participate as often as you like.
"ALA CARTE"
Members are kept informed of activities
through the club newsletter, 'Ala Carte'. The publication is sent on a
monthly or bimonthly basis. It is written to be both informative and entertaining.
There are descriptions of the various places that SBV will be visiting
that month, along with (depending on the format used that month) fundamental
menus, calendars and a generalized map. Club news, along with occasional
trivia and professional articles written specifically for singles are also
included. 'Ala Carte' has been described as, 'an entertaining and useful
mini-restaurant guide', with history, insight and humor.
