A Time Machine
There will always be time machines.
Hidden away in a rather large sub-basement vault in the Seum of Mu was the last working model of the ChronoStar 1000. This particular device was a time machine only in the literal sense, and should more aptly be called a time television.
On any given day the two scientists tending the controls will usually be Bob and Ollie Weidermeier. These twin brothers are infamous for failing to use the machine to view the outcome of the Raccoon Wars.
While Ollie was sneaking a sip of iced tea from a test tube he kept concealed about his person, Bob was indulging his passion for viewing Paris in the 1900s.
Or so the story goes.
Needless to say, no medals were involved.
Above the vaults the rooms of the main building were so huge that dinosaurs were used to patrol the halls and passages. There were twenty-three structures in the complex, but the main building was the heart of the Seum of Mu. There were areas where you could not see the ceiling. And not only because it was so far away, but because clouds would form, swirling in the drafts and breezes, sometimes bringing rain and lightning.
It was the kind of place where everything happened very fast - at first - then nothing, not a stir.
