Once upon a time, not very far from where you are now, there were fewer people. Now it happens that the people around when the first Worm ship landed in Goober's Mill were Oliver Trooper and his mutated blue dog Bobo. It was to Oliver that the Worms entrusted the Butterflea of Doom.
"I'll give it to my son, Billy." said Oliver to Bobo.
"Indeed." Bobo replied.

The Watch that watched was the first of the Relics of Mu to be discovered before it was created. It was thought that the mountains on the face formed the letter "M" and indicated the minute hand. The river forms a "U" and was thought to represent the hour hand because there's a "u" in hour.
Is it, perhaps, a stop watch? As it doesn't seem to be running, there's no way of telling.
It is said that, if it were to start running, something would happen.
