Hold it right there!
Major Carmen's trip to the Blimp Launch Area [see "Billy Trooper and the Worms of Mu"] proved to be worthwhile. But time was running out.
Carmen arrived as the Blimpmen were going to lunch. He approached the nearest one, extending his Red Glove of Official Warning and Secrecy.
"Excuse me, sir! My name is Major Trudog. If I could have a moment. I understand you have raccoons in your blimp fields?"
"Had." said the blimpman.
"Had? What do you mean, had?"
"I mean we run 'em off. They were stealing our steam. No steam, no blimps. No blimps....well, then the Worms don't get their mustard."
Carmen shuddered at the thought.
