A 2.9 square mile town including Season's Glen, Speakertown, Shore Hills, Knolls, Mount Harry, Town Center,
Alamac Estates, Chestnut Point, Cove Road area, Bertrand Island and Lake Rogerene
The purpose of THE MOUNT ARLINGTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY is to promote community interest in the borough's history. Mount Arlington is a small Victorian town with a dynamic and diversified past. Virginia Rooney is the Town Historian and the society president. She can be reached at 973-398-1106.
In the past 21 years, we have dedicated ourselves to many preservation projects, including the restoration and display of the original school bell. We've spent numerous hours researching the history of our town for the beautiful and informative book, Mt. Arlington-The First 100 Years by Anna Travers. In order to continue as a viable society, we need your support as paid members.
