Salary surveys NJ teacher salary surveys are conducted annually by the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA). Results are printed each December in the NJEA Review. You can find this issue at our library and online: 2007-08 survey (skip to p. 37). Salaries are arranged by county, then school district. Minimum and maximum ranges and number of increments are set forth by level of professional education (bachelor, master 6th year). The start/stop date of the current district contract is not reported. Timing of the next negotiation is something you might want to ask about during your interview.
