Astonishing little information on XX, so far... X City City library faxxed us a short biographical note from the 19xx legislative roster...no mention in NYTimes other than that she had been(re) elected. Social Security Death Index shows 16 XXs deceased in NJ, 14 of whom fall in the right age range..two XXs are listed, only one of whom would be of the right age to have served in Trenton in 19xx. I will keep looking, but have you any further information on her?

Thank you for your quick response! I, too, know little about her. I = came across her name in some notes my grandmother made on family = history. I believe she may be a cousin of my grandmother, born 18xx, died 19xx. I believe her husband was XXX I thought there may have been much excitement about a woman being elected in 19xx, but I guess not. My grandmother's notes did say that her name is listed on a plaque at the train station in XXX City, honoring all the assemblymen and women of the day. I would check the archives in Trenton, but without birth/death dates, I = wouldn't even know how to proceed. If you are able to locate any further information, I would be grateful to have it. Husband's name is the break needed. Obituary in NYTimes as Mrs. HisName. Printed and sent to patron. who now has enough information to proceed with search in vital records.
