My local public library says it cannot locate any Interlibrary Loan source for three books that contain some essential reading. Doubtless, they have done their best, but I suspect that a relatively small library lacks the resources to do a thorough search
.Can you suggest any alternative way of locating such books ? While they are long out of print, I cannot believe that not a single library in North America is able and willing to lend them. They are :-

I am able to get in, however, I always have 1 of 2 problems: 1) Either I am disconnected with 1-2 minutes of being logged on (usually in the middle of a search), or 2) I am able to access all options, except "1" - library catalog. When I type "1" and press enter, the main menu is redisplayed. It does not take me to the catalog screen. HELP!!
