This program is designed for students whose native language is not English, but who already have some fundamental
knowledge of English as determined by a placement exam administered on the CCM campus. This academically oriented

The library is equipped with a computer program that use images and narratives to teach the English
language. The computer lessons come with a microphone and a program that analyzes how close a person’s pronunciation is
to a native speaker. Computer use is free, but the library asks that everyone complete a short orientation.

Over 1,000 American ESL institutes, schools and programs offering English as a second language. The directory can be searched by
location and program. Each program's Web site can be viewed in a student's native language.
Organizations helping non-English speaking people (no ESL classes)
Call 211 or 1-800-HELP-555 for questions and referrals
for social services in Morris County. Helps non-English speaking people get comprehensive health and human service
information. Website has online directory which includes ESL services.
