The nine-year old program, co-sponsored by the Human Relations Commission and the Wallenberg Foundation of New Jersey, honors students who display the compassion and courage of Raoul Wallenberg in Hungary in 1944. Students are nominated and honored for carrying out his example as "the power of one" person's actions in saving others.
