Ester H. Nevarez, Community Relations Coordinator
NJ Office on Civil Rights, Bureau of Prevention & Community Relations
Esther H. Nevarez joined the Division on Civil Rights in March of 1992. Ms. Nevarez develops and delivers trainings for business and industry, municipalities and advocacy groups on civil rights issues as covered under the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination and the Family Leave Act, and is responsible for all communications to the media. Nevarez earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at El Paso.

Brenda Edmonson, Chief
NJ Program Center, Office of Fair Housing & Equal Opportunity
Brenda Edmonson has held this position for the last seven years. She has civil rights related programmatic oersight over the State's 900+ receipients of Federal financial assistance. Prior to this position, Ms. Edmonson was an Equal Opportunity Spcialist with HUD where she was responsible for structuring HUD's activities in response to high profile litigation cases, training and technical assistance to HUD's 10 Regions, conducting compliance reviews and other civil rights-related monitoring functions.
