GTI GlobalNet User Responsibilities
All users must hereby agree to act within the guidelines specified below when using both local system applications and communicating over the Internet, or any other network, foreign system, or foreign application through GTI GlobalNet resources. As a user of the system :
You are required to have a valid authorized account under your real name,
and containing true and valid information. Users are required to
maintain current information pertenent to their account and billing
information. All personal accounts are strictly limited to one user.
Individuals discovered to be abusing this restriction will face a
temporary suspension of services or total termination of their account.
Corporate and small business accounts may have multiple users utilizing
one account.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account and password. GTI
can be reached from any site in the world, thus password security is
of crucial importance. Personal passwords should be changed on at
least a monthly basis.
You may not knowingly engage in unauthorized duplication, alteration,
or destruction of data, programs or software on any local or remote
system. This includes, but is not limited to, the transmission of
copyrighted materials without prior consent from said author or authors;
deliberate destruction of data belonging to any individual, company, or
organization other then yourself; and the copying and / or transmission
of data or information protected otherise under present legal statutes.
You may not use computer resources to engage in abuse of local or other
network users. This includes the transmission of obscene messages and
the like.
You may not use computer nor network facilities to attempt to breach
security on any local or foriegn hosts. ANY activity of this sort shall
be grounds for the immediate termination of your account with GTI, as
well as the full disclosure of any and all information relating to this
matter to the proper law enforcement authorities for criminal prosecution.
The use of computer and Internet network services are subject to federal
and state regulations, with which you are expected to be familiar.
These local guidelines, which include federal and state regulations, of
computer and international network usage are subject to revision. You as
the user are expected to be familiar with any modifications and / or
revisions in the laws and regulations.
Any user found in violation of these regulations will be subject to account termination and, if necessary, referral to law enforcement authorities for criminal prosecution.
