AARP Chapter 5109 held its Installation Luncheon on June 13 at the Brooklake Country Club.  The following new Officers and Board Members were installed:

The next regular meeting will be held September 12, 2000.  There are no regular meetings for the Months of July and August.

The tour committee has currently scheduled the following trips for the remainder of the Year 2000.  Hunts Landing October Festival, Matamoras, PA, Friday, October 27, 2000.  Cost is $40, payable in full with reservation.  Cape May, NJ.  Thursday, December 7, and Friday, December 8, 2000.  For reservations and information, call Ken and Wilma Leach 377-6263.
 

AARP 55 And Alive Classes were held on March 27th and 28th and April 24th and 25th at the Florham Park Memorial First Aid Squad Building with 24 attendees.  If there is enough interest, another class will be scheduled.

Again, Gladys Tallau, expresses her many thanks to the women who have been knitting new born caps.  In March, she delivered 98 caps to Morristown Memorial Hospital, for a total of 623 caps knitted and delivered to date.  All knitters are welcome and the caps are greatly appreciated by the mothers.
