I.   REGISTRATION RULES AND FEES

 1.  Types of registration available:
 
Husband and Wife $180.00 per season
Resident Relative
A resident relative must reside permanently in the same household with the family holding a family   registration.

$150.00 per season
 

 

Resident Family
The family registration includes only husband and wife, and all their unmarried dependent children under 23 years and State Ward children who reside in same household.
$210.00 per season
Individual Registrant

Senior Citizen
 A resident who is 65 years or older  during 2000.

Mid-year Family rate (for any family) starting August 1st $150.00 per season
Residents of Florham Park who are on active duty with the Armed Forces of the United      States, who are otherwise eligible to use the pool facilities, will be admitted free of charge   providing they present evidence they are on leave.
3.  Swim Lessons                  $  25.00 per session

 4.  Swim Team Fee                $  30.00

II. POOL OPENING DATES AND HOURS

  Open weekends starting June 3, until regular season begins 12:00 noon til 6:00 p.m.
  Open daily starting June 24 through September 4   (Labor Day).

Pool Hours for general swimming:
  (Weather conditions permitting)
  Mon. thru Fri Noon to   8:00 p.m.
  Saturday            11:00 a.m.    to   7:00 p.m.
  Sunday               Noon           to   7:00 p.m.
  Labor Day          Noon           to   7:00 p.m.

 5. Pool Hours for additional activities will be announced.

III. REGISTRANT IDENTIFICATION BADGE
 
1.  Each registrant will be issued a photo badge. In order to be admitted to the
pool this badge must be SHOWN to the admission clerk. 

2. Lost badges must be reported immediately to the Pool Director.   The following replacement  plan  is available:  Persons losing badges shall wait two days before a new badge is issued at
a cost of  three  dollars. ($3.00)

3. BADGES ARE NON TRANSFERABLE.      ANYONE TRANSFERRING A BADGE     WILL NULLIFY THEIR SWIMMING  PRIVILEGES FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON. IF THE TRANSFER OCCURS AT THE END OF THE SEASON, THE PENALTY WILL CARRY OVER TO THE NEXT  SEASON. 

 4. Persons defacing badges shall lose swimming privileges for one week and shall be charged three dollars ($3.00)for a new badge; second offense, badge will be revoked for two weeks and a  charge of three dollars ($3.00) for a  new badge.

 5. Providing false information on  application will void membership without refund.

IV. ADMISSION OF CHILDREN

 1. No child 10 years of age or younger is permitted to use the pool unless accompanied by a person in bathing  attire 18 years of age or older, who shall remain in the pool area at all times.  A child who will be 11 any time prior  to December 31, 1998 will be  considered 11 years of age.  (A birth certificate is required).

 2. Use of the wading pool shall be limited to children 5 years of age and under.   Supervision of the children in the wading pool shall be the responsibility of the adult chaperone bringing them in  to the pool enclosure.  At no time shall the children be left unattended by the chaperone.  No diapers permitted.    Infants must wear bathing suits while in  the wading pool.
 

V. GUEST SWIMMING PRIVILEGES AND FEES

 1. No Florham Park resident will be admitted as a guest.
  All guests must be accompanied by a Florham Park Municipal Pool registrant who must remain on the pool premises with the guest.

 2. Daily guest passes will be available for all registrants.  The fee for daily passes will be $5.00.  One pass is good for one admission only.

 3. Guest passes will be available at the  Florham Park Municipal Pool during  pool operating hours.

VI. POOL REGULATIONS

 For your safety and pleasure the following    rules and regulations will be in effect and enforced during the swimming season.   Parents are requested to discuss and  explain the following rules and their  importance with their children (toddlers, pre-teenagers, and teenagers).

 1. Walk. . .Please No Running.

 2. No wrestling, horseplay, punching,      pushing, or pulling others into the pool.   Snapping of towels is prohibited.

 3. Toys, water balloons, rubber balls, super soakers, inner tubes, face masks,  snorkels, or the like shall not be permitted.

 4   Swimmies are permitted only with adult water supervision. No swimmies in the diving area.     Parents must be in the water.

 5. Dogs or other pets are not permitted on the pool grounds.

 6. Any person showing evidence of skin diseases, sore or inflamed eyes, colds, nasal or ear discharge, or any communicable disease, excessive sunburn, open blisters, cuts or bandages shall be refused admission.

 7. No glass containers shall be permitted in the pool areas.

 8. Beach chairs, card tables, baby carriages, etc., must be kept in designated areas.

 9.   People in street clothing must display their pool badges and are not permitted beyond designated lines.

 11. The Borough of Florham Park, or its authorized agent, shall have power to close the pool whenever the safety or health of the participants is endangered.

 12. The Management of the pool and the Borough of Florham Park are not responsible for personal property.

 13. Pool parking in designated areas only.

 14. All persons using the pool must take a shower using warm water and soap before entering the pool.

 15. No talking to the lifeguards when on duty.

 16. Hanging of towels or clothing on the pool fencing is prohibited.

 17. Members must not comb hair at poolside.

 18. Any injury MUST be reported immediately at the pool office.

 19. Persons are not permitted in the lifeguard and snack bar area unless authorized.

 20. Diving is permitted only in designated area:

  a. One person at a time is permitted  on a diving board.

  b. Divers shall not dive until the previous diver has cleared the area below the board.

  c. Diving shall not be permitted from the side of the board.

  d. Excessive bouncing on the board is prohibited.

  e. Swimmers, other than divers, shall not be permitted in the diving well except during designated periods.

  f. Running dives from the deck area are prohibited.

  g. There shall be no retrieving of  objects from the bottom of the diving well unless authorized by the  lifeguard.

  h. Only one person is  permitted on the slide at any time.  Sit facing front only.

 22. Violators of the swimming rules are subject to revocation of swimming privileges.

 23. The Borough of Florham Park shall establish any additional rules which shall be in the interest of the registrants.

VII. PLEASE HELP KEEP YOUR POOL AND GROUNDS CLEAN BY:

  1. Preventing small children from carrying  water from pool to make mud holes or causing untidiness around the pool.

  2. Smoking behind yellow lines only and depositing cigarette butts in containers.

  3. Cooperating in disposal of rubbish, papers, etc., in proper containers around the pool.

  4. Encouraging children to visit lavatories as often as necessary.

  5. Not throwing sticks, stones, dirt or trash into the pool.

  6. Setting a good example for the youngsters, by eating and drinking in the Picnic Area.

  7. Not allowing small children to play in the sand in the volleyball area.
